Fisco Co, Ltd provides system and financial support to Tech Bureau

Tech Bureau, Corp who operates a bitcoin exchange platform announced on Wednesday that its crypto exchante “Zail” has been hacked and lost about JPY 6.7 billion ( $59 million).(including client’s asset JPY 4.5 billion).

After a hack worth nearly $59 million, Tokyo-based financial services group, Fisco Co , Ltd<3807>. announced that the company will support Tech Bureau, Corp to provide 1) JPY 5 billion($45 million), 2)acquire more than half of shares in a company , 3)sending executives, etc.

Back in January 2018, a Japan-based bitcoin walled and exchange service coincheck revealed hackers had stolen more than $500 million-worth of customers’funds in what is thought to be the largest-ever cryptocurrency hack. That was the latest high-profile crypto hack, and the most significant since $460 million in Bitcoin vanished in 2014. After the event, Bitcoin price has tumbled 14.5 percent in a single day.

In April, Japanese online brokerage firm Monex Group Inc <8698> stepped in the acquisition of Coincheck Inc, the exchange at the center of a $530 million digital money heist, for JPY3.6 billion ($33.6 million), the latest move by a mainstream finance firm into the cryptocurrency market.
